In commemoration of World’s Girl Children Day, a remarkable event named “Thanithuru Arival Aadrallal” was hosted on October 14, 2023. This event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Tamil Nadu Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, who served as the Chief Guest. The occasion encompassed several programs aimed at empowering and appreciating youth and was jointly organized by Anbil Trust and Rotary District 3000, with hosting duties carried out by RCT Butterflies. Event Highlights: Teacher Appreciation: The event commenced with heartfelt appreciation for the teachers who generously offered free coaching to government school students aspiring to secure admissions in Tamil Nadu medical colleges. Their selfless commitment to education was acknowledged and celebrated. Leadership and Individuality Training: The organizers who had conducted leadership and individuality training programs in various districts under Rotary District 3000 were recognized and applauded. These programs have significantly contributed to shaping the future leaders of the region. Awareness Program: An awareness program, targeting school and college students, was organized. It aimed to shed light on important issues and initiatives and was expertly overseen by Rtn. Anandha Jyoti, the District Governor of Rotary District 3000. Keynote Speaker: Mr. M. Sivakumar, Chief Education Officer, delivered an insightful keynote speech, emphasizing the pivotal role of education and empowerment in the lives of young students. Special Guests: Dr. Prathiba, Director of Joseph Eye Hospital, shared valuable insights on eye health and its impact on education. Mr. Robert Luthersamy, Principal of Montfort School, Trichy, offered valuable perspectives on education and empowerment. Welcome Address: Rtn. Subha, President of RCT Butterflies, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, underlining the significance of the event and its mission. Felicitation Speech: Mr. Sigaram Sathish, a Teacher from the Tamil Nadu Education Department, delivered a felicitation speech, expressing gratitude to the organizers and teachers for their pivotal role in shaping the future of students. Award Distribution: In recognition of the occasion, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi presented awards to individuals and organizations that have made substantial contributions to education and empowerment. Presidential Address: Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi delivered a presidential address, emphasizing the importance of supporting and empowering the youth to create a brighter future. Vote of Thanks: The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rtn.
