On the evening of October 11, a joint club meeting took place at Breeze Residency in Trichy, featuring distinguished guests Rotarian Dr. R.S. Kamaraj, Former District Siddha Officer, and Rotarian Dr. K. Srinivasan from RID 3000. This event was hosted by RCT Trichy Kings and RCT Butterflies and left a lasting impression. Rotarian Dr. R.S. Kamaraj, an expert in Siddha medicine, delivered an engaging presentation on “Culinary Home Remedies.” He shared valuable insights on how everyday kitchen ingredients, such as spices and herbs, can be utilized not only for cooking but also for their therapeutic benefits. The audience was captivated as he stressed the holistic approach of Siddha medicine, focusing on the harmony of mind, body, and spirit. Rotarian Dr. K. Srinivasan, representing District AKS Promotion from RID 3000, commended the presentation and emphasized the significance of traditional practices in promoting wellness. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished Rotarians, including Rtn. Krishnamoorthy, District Secretary of Programs from RID 3000, and Rtn. Janaki, Regional Coordinator from RID 3000, demonstrating the unity and strength of Rotary Clubs in the region. This joint meeting proved to be a successful and enlightening gathering, made possible through the collaborative efforts of RC Trichy Kings and RCT Butterflies. Several dedicated Rotarians, such as Rtn. Subha, Rtn. Roselin, Rtn. Emeema, Rtn. Hemalatha, Rtn. Kanchana, and Rtn. Gayathri, in addition to the members of RC Trichy Kings, played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s smooth execution.
